DUKE GRADUATE STUDENT FELLOWSHIPS

Advanced (post-prelim) Duke graduate students in the humanities and social sciences are encouraged to apply for fellowships in the FHI Seminar. Graduate fellows will be appointed for the 2009-10 academic year. The fellowship provides a stipend of $19,740 (nine months). The position entails no teaching duties.
The 2009-10 Seminar, Innovating Forms, will be co-convened by Duke faculty miriam cooke (Asian and Middle Eastern Studies) and Fred Moten (English). The seminar will explore the role of form in the production of knowledge and the meanings and articulations of innovation.
